Chromosome 4, 10, 17 Probe
- Aug 15, 2018 -

Chromosome 4, 10, 17 probes are used in hematological tumors.

The centromere region of chromosome 4 is labeled with an orange dye and the centromere regions of chromosomes 10 and 17 are labeled with a green dye. In normal cells, two orange-red signals are displayed under a fluorescence microscope. Two green signals. When the number of chromosomes is abnormal, three orange-red signals or three green signals are formed.

The 4, 10, and 17 trisomy are independent prognostic indicators, and these patients have a 7-year EFS greater than 90%. The method of detecting the number of CEP4 / CEP10 / CEP17 chromosomes provides a reference for the identification, prognosis and medication of clinical leukemia patients.
